If you prefer, take 51 bus or 166 bus, just across the street from the Subway, and you will find yourself rapidly at Université de Montréal, in Outremont or Downtown at Guy-Concordia metro station, near the Museum of Fine Arts as well as Concordia University and McGill University. Or better still, take the 66 bus -- less frequent but reliable and predictible, and a 2-minute walk from the house, which will take you to the same location as the 166 bus (Guy-Concordia metro station) in 15 minutes.
And if you plan to drive out of the City, you will be pleased to know that all highways run nearby and will take you easily to the South Shore, to the West Island, to Laval or towards Eastern Québec.
